Little Tuna supports local businesses and only uses 100% Australian suppliers for its products to Wholesale Retailers. Little Tuna is proud to supply sustainably caught Australian Tuna.

To the Lamason family, sustainability is more than just an expression it’s their way of life. Any seafood used for the Little Tuna products are caught by Australian fishing companies using sustainable fishing methods. Fish are caught in Australian waters governed by the Australian Fisheries Management Authority (AFMA). AFMA have implemented stringent recording and monitoring systems as well as strict guidelines for gear used and number of vessels allowed into the fishery.

A quota system is also in place limiting the total allowable commercial catch. Using these methods, there will not be any decline in the species’ survival.

We are a Cairns-based family business offering our boutique product – Little Tuna – to Wholesalers. Little Tuna will change your perspective on preserved seafood. We catch our tuna from waters internationally renowned as some of the most prolific fishing grounds in the world. We are the only company to exclusively sell Australian-caught preserved Tuna using all Australian ingredients.

Wholesale Delivery 

Delivery in Cairns is included. Please note that delivery dates to be negotiated. A shipping fee will be incurred for deliveries outside of Cairns.

SHELF LIFE:

All jars have a shelf life of up to 18 months from the date of production.
